County public health flu immunizations

Changes have been made to the usual routine for flu shots provided by Mercer County Public Health offices, a Custer Health District service. The Beulah Civic Center will be the only location of the public health Seasonal Immunization Clinic that in past years traveled to each community in the county.

Parking lot maintenance in question

Mercer County Meals on Wheels served 12,681 total meals in 2008 to senior citizens throughout the county – 5,546 congregate meals at the senior citizens centers and senior housing, and 7,135 home-delivered meals, according to Linda Oestreich, director of Mercer-McLean Counties Meals on Wheels.

3 feet of bypass freeboard?

In what would be a major development in Hazen’s quest to keep the State Highway 200 Bypass recognized as a levee, engineers will likely know soon whether the bypass can be shown to have 3 feet of freeboard – one of Federal Emergency Management Agency’s major requirements when recognizing accredited levees.

Bank stabilization benefits 2 entities
