Trojans take down Lions, Knights and Comets
The Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky Trojans are on a 10-game winning steak after picking up three wins this past week.
Tuesday, the Trojans defeated the Our Redeemers Knights from Minot 72-49. On Friday night the Trojans pounded the Underwood Comets 82-33 and, on Saturday night, the Trojans outlasted the number seven-ranked Minot Ryan Lions 59-57.

The Trojans had four players in double figures with Grant Singer leading the way with 30 points; followed by Tucker Fylling with 13, Myles Tomlinson 11 and Ryan Rauhauser 10,
Joel Deckert led the Knights with 11, followed by Luke Sorum with 10.
The Trojans took a 10-4 lead after three consecutive buckets from Grant Singer midway through the first quarter.
The Knights answered back with a pair of deuces and a free throw to make the score 10-9 at the 1:57 mark.
From there, Singer scored a couple of deuces and a trey, along with a deuce from Tucker Fylling in the last 1:23 of the first quarter to go up, 19-11.
The Trojans started the second quarter with a 9-4 run and ended the quarter with an 8-0 run to go up 42 -23 at the half.
Singer scored 25 of his 30 points in the first half.
Trevor Thomas started the scoring for the Trojans to start the third quarter with a triple. Ryan Rauhauser and Tucker Fylling put in two-pointers in a 7-0 run to go up 49-23.
The Trojans made an 8-0 run just before the third quarter ended to go up 61-34 at the end of three.
