Trojans trip Troopers

BY TIM HANSON
The Trojans were in Garrison for a double-header Tuesday and were winners in both games.
The boys took the court first and found themselves struggling with Nathan Rauhauser out ill and Adam Peltier picking up his second foul early in the second quarter.
The Trojans took a 6-3 lead after triples from Adam Peltier and Marcus Tomlinson, but a couple of buckets from Luke Gehring put the Troopers in front 7-6.
The Troopers continued to lead until a base line drive and bucket from Kevin Klemisch tied the game at 14 to end the first quarter.
The teams traded buckets to start the second quarter; then a triple by Gehring put the Troopers up 19-16.
The Troopers led 28-23 but a put-back from Klemisch at the 0:06 mark made the half-time score 28-25 Troopers.
Peltier picked up his third foul just seconds into the third quarter.
The Troopers took a 35-30 lead at the 4:46 mark.
A triple from Peltier at the 4:41 mark and a triple from Kyle Bott at the 4:03 mark put the Trojans in front 36-35.
A drive and bucket from Levi Hummel put the Troopers in the lead but that was answered by Klemisch with a steal and bucket to put the Trojans in the lead.
