The first flight on day two of the 2011 Dakota Walleye Classic launches out of Lake Sakakawea's Beulah Bay Saturday, July 23. The bay is located about 14 miles north of Beulah, N.D. Jeff Enzminger and Jordan Binstock, both of Bismarck, reeled in 28.42 pounds to win the DWC second year in a row.

Spillway releases from Garrison Dam brought people out to witness the first time the dam has had so much overflow as to release over the spillway. The US Army Corps of Engineers initial projection is that it will be releasing 30,000 cubic feet per second when all of the spillway's 28 are projected to be open tomorrow night.
