Beulah merchants see steady sales on this year’s Black Friday
The day after Thanksgiving is one of the biggest shopping days of the year across the nation. In Beulah, it is a little different.
A number of merchants contacted by the Beacon said their sales on Black Friday were about the same as last year. Dave Ripplinger, manager of the Pamida store said he didn’t change the stores hour for the day like many stores in urban areas do, but he did offer free survival kit for the first 100 customers. Ripplinger said Black Friday is an important day for his store, unlike some of the other merchants contacted.
