Beulah Police Department faces training challenges
Concerns over methods at the Beulah Police Department may have opened lines of communications among area officials, even after one officer was fired.
Mayor Darrell Bjerke said the officer in question was fired due to insubordination and at least two poor evaluations. The firing came on the heels of strict language from Sheriff Dean Danzeisen, who warned the entire city police force about the dangers of shoddy police work.
