Beulah ranked in Top 10 for young families
By Chris Erickson
Beulah has been named one of the top 10 cities in the state for young families to live.
In order to narrow the cities down and find out the best places for those families, the company Nerdwallet used the metrics of growth, cost of living and the quality of the available schools. In order to find the greatest options for young families across the state the report asked four questions:
Does the city have good public schools? Can you afford to live there? Is the city growing and prospering?
Beulah received a great schools rating of six, median home value of $116,700 with monthly owner costs of $1,005, median household income of $63,529, 40.4 percent growth from 1999-2011 and an overall score for young families of 53.6.
