County on board with emergency pumping at Lake Shore Estates

A few details – such as final cost – remain unknown, but the Mercer County Commission agreed with the Mercer County Water Resource Board that something must be done to aid the residents of a flooding subdivision at the commission’s regular meeting Feb. 16 at the Mercer County Courthouse in Stanton.

Water board president Ed Grunett and secretary/attorney Greg Lange approached the commission to brief them on the latest of the soggy situation of Lake Shore Estates, a subdivision north of Beulah on the shores of Lake Sakakawea.
