Grilling steaks and socializing

“It’s just a fun community event for folks to get out, socialize and have some fun,” said Chamber Director Sarah Tunge. The Annual Community Chamber Steak Fry is presented by the Beulah Chamber of Commerce.
They have purchased the steaks, Texas toast, beans and salad all for the community to enjoy with the purchase of a ticket. Tickets are $12 in advance and available at the chamber office or $15 on the day of the event. This year’vs Steak Fry will be Aug. 17 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Riverside Park Shelter 2.
Community members have the opportunity to grill their own steak to their liking, meanwhile sitting amongst known faces and new faces, socializing and enjoying the summer weather. The school districts give tickets free to their new teachers, giving them the ability to get out, socialize and meet new people in the community.
Coteau Freedom Mine donates a grill for the evening for people to grill their steaks on. Riverside Park also has charcoal grills to which can be used also. There will be cash bar available also.
Attendees are to bring their own plates and utensils. There will also be hot dogs available for the kids. This event is run off of volunteers and typically serves 200 people. This event is open to the entire community, which everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy.
