History’s great voices will be witnessed in Beulah

Their voices echoed across the nation as this country marched relentlessly toward its bloodiest conflict it would ever know. The country lawyer, the poet and the slave will come to life this weekend in Beulah as the North Dakota Humanities Council will present its Everett Albers Chautauqua Program, "Lincoln, Land, and Liberty: The Civil War Era and Beyond."

Evening programs will be held Friday through Sunday at the Beulah Middle School with additional presentations Saturday morning and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the AmericInn.
