Labor Day break-in
BY KATE JOHNSON
One individual was arrested after an elementary school break in late Monday evening. Over the Labor Day holiday, suspects forced entry into the Beulah Elementary School after dark. Intruders entered through the maintenance door, which Principal Skalsky assured was locked at the last School Board meeting, saying “they must have jimmied it.”
After entering the school the suspects kicked-in the kitchen window and helped themselves to a breakfast pizza along with sodas from the teacher’s lounge. Not only was food taken, but also other items that are considered school property. The persons responsible for the break-in created much damage to the elementary school in their wake.
