Old KRCC building sold

With energy expenses alone costing more than $55,000 per year, the Knife River Care Center was motivated to find a buyer for its former facility on Central Avenue. This week it found one.

KRCC called for bids on the facility in July. Only one bid was received and that was opened Aug. 9. The KRCC Board of Directors decided to accept the bid from Clifford Weigum for $5,000. The amount was less than the board had hoped to receive.
