Personal-use policy voted down again

Personal-use policy voted down again
Binder confused by county to trust heads
It’s back to the drawing board with the county’s personal-use policy, but it didn’t fall without a fight.
Mercer County commissioners failed the second reading 3-2 July 17 at the County Courthouse in Stanton. Commissioners Duane Scheurer and Wayne Entze voted to pass the policy.
The policy would have given department heads and supervisors power to let employees use county property for personal use. This is the third time since April the commissioners have sent it back to the policy committee.
