Pheasants Forever: Annual Youth Pheasant Hunt

By Kate Johnson

Children of the ages 12-15. It is time to get out for the annual youth pheasant hunt hosted by Pheasants Forever and their volunteers. The event will take place at Kurt and Faye Swenson’s residence, located at 5774 21st St. SW, Beulah.
Participants must have completed the hunter safety course, hold a current hunting license, and be accompanied by a responsible adult at the time of the event. The event is free of charge. Pheasants Forever will be provided clays, shells, and refreshments, as well as a field lunch.
“In the past, this has been a fun and rewarding opportunity for everyone involved, and an excellent way to positively mentor our future sportsmen and voters,” according to Pheasants Forever.
Pheasants Forever is asking for all volunteers, dogs, and youth participants to come out and support this annual event. Kids are able to hunt a couple hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon if they desire to do so.
