Questions answered in Homecoming shutout

A couple early season losses to Carrington and Watford City had many people posing big question marks on the Beulah football team this year.

However, a mid-season surge started with a dominating defeat of the Turtle Mountain community Sept. 19 followed up by a record-breaking, overtime topper of Dickinson Trinity the next week and a crushing blowout of the Standing Rock community this past Friday have laid to rest some pretty definitive answers to those questions.

"We’re feeling pretty good from the fact we have rebounded from those early losses," Miner head coach Loy Ham said.

And Ham along with the entire Miner gang have good reasons to be proud after Beulah walloped the Warriors 33-0 last Friday night in their most sound game of the season thus far.

"I talked to some other coaches to see what Standing Rock does. More than anything we wanted that game to focus on what we do well," Ham said.

And that is a laundry list of accomplishments starting with the very first possession.
