Questions polite but pointed at Conrad event

Politics and pork were on the menu as Sen. Kent Conrad talked health care and energy policy at the Beulah Civic Center on Saturday.

The pork wasn’t the kind doled out as political patronage, however, but was the main course of a meal served by the District 33 Democratic Party. The gathering was coordinated by Greg McCarthy, who was standing in for District 33 party chairman Kevin Herrmann.
