School Board hears potential new design
By Kate Johnson
Beulah School Board heard a very preliminary design for the high school project.
This design was presented to the board to bridge the gap between the dollar amount people will support and the actual updates needed.
Over the course of last year, the Beulah School District has heard many different price points and sizes to the project, ranging from $4 million to $20 million.
After the School Perceptions survey sent out in the summer of 2019, the Building Task Force – appointed by the Beulah superintendent – discussed what they believed the size of project the community would support.
Beulah Schools Superintendent Travis Jordan emerged with a dollar amount of $6.5 million. He then informed the Beulah School Board, and they made the decision to decommission the Building Task Force and take on the project on their own once again.
