Threatening note closes Beulah High School

Beulah High School was shut down by a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 6.

The threat came during the middle of the school’s homecoming week.

The threat, which was a hand-written letter making vague threats about a "device of some sort that will explode this week," was found by a staff member who gave it to High School Principal Todd Kaylor. Kaylor and Elementary School Principal Mitch Lunde reviewed the note and found it to be a plausible threat to the school. Superintendent Rob Lech and Middle School Principal Gail Wold were out of town when the threat was found.
