Miners VB fall in regionals

By Jarann Johnson The Beulah Miners got off to a great start in the Region 7 volleyball tournament but couldn’t finish what they started. The Miners advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-2 home victory over Richardton-Taylor. The 5-set win meant a matchup with Hazen, a team the Miners lost to twice. The Miners’ most recent lost to Hazen came in their regular season finale. Beulah challenged Hazen, the reigning Region 7 champs, during the first set but ultimately fell 25-17. In the second and third sets Hazen’s postseason experience showed and the Bison won 25-11 and 25-12.
