After a stellar regular season, Miners Baseball went into the regional final Tuesday against the one team that has given them some trouble this year: Velva. Going into the championship game Beulah and Velva were 3-1. When the dust settled after the game the Miners had come out as regional champions with an 11-1 win.
Softball season is right around the corner and teams are forming up quick.

The Mighty Thunder Wrestlers saw their first wrestling action March 2 at Killdeer. The icy roads kept several from attending but for those who ventured out the evening proved to offer some good first time action for the year.
Jesse Hettich was the first to admit he didn’t have his best game Thursday during the Region 7 Championship. Vying for his team’s second berth in the state tournament in three years, the Beulah junior missed seven free throws down the stretch. However, his eighth saw nothing but net as the Miners clinched a 58-54 victory over Dickinson Trinity.
