The senior not only had a guiding hand in giving her team their second district championship with 17 kills and 13 digs, she was also honored by other coaches as the Outstanding Senior Athlete of the Year.

It started with a question. Now months later that early idea is becoming a reality for area curling enthusiasts. A few area men are forming the Hazen Curling Club. They are kicking off the season by hosting a learning to curl clinic at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Hazen All Season Arena. The only requirement of the free clinic is that people come dressed in comfortable pants and bring clean indoor tennis shoes.

After struggling with their run game in the first three weeks of the season, there was little the Beulah football team couldn’t accomplish Friday night. Running back Karson Hintz ran for three touchdowns and quarterback Trevor Zacher scrambled for two more on the ground and one in the air en route to the 40-6 Homecoming victory over Turtle Mountain.
