The Beulah Cyclones brought their A-game this weekend, achieving wins on Friday and Saturday against Dickinson and Williston.

If their first week is any indication, the summer baseball season may not be much brighter than Beulah’ spring season. Twice rain showers ended games early last week but thankfully the Cyclones were able to weather the storm with four victories.
One bad inning kept the Beulah baseball team from achieving their goals Monday during the first round of the Region 6 Tournament in Beulah. The win sent the defending state champions to the title contest that happened Tuesday.

A man looking into the possibility of opening a gentlemen’s club in Oliver County failed to appear at the Oliver County Commission’s regular meeting May 4 as planned, prompting the Commission to begin the drafting of an ordinance restricting such establishments within the county.
