B-H falls in extra innings during Dickinson non-conference game

Too many free passes hurt Beulah-Hazen last Tuesday.

And the Miners still almost made up the deficit with their ability to hit the long ball.

B-H got out to an early three-run lead thanks to a home run from Lucas Senske, eventually driving the game into extra innings before giving up the non-conference game to the Midgets. The night proved to be a sweep for the visitors on the scoreboard at Goldmann Field.

The Miners opened the season on the road against the Midgets in two games that could have easily swung in B-H’s favor. Tuesday was an opportunity to correct past mistakes but Dickinson started threatening in the first inning with runners on the corners. One pitch from Skye Little Soldier to the Midget cleanup hitter bounced to Tanner Borlaug at shortstop with the flip to second to end the inning.
