Beulah Babe Ruth end season

Beulah’s Babe Ruth team came in second place at the regional tournament in Bowman last week, which means they won’t advance to state this year. Even though, Beulah didn’t reach the state tournament they did grow overall.
Beulah Babe Ruth head coach Dalton Oliger said his team had 19 kids ages 13-15 participate for the team this year. Oliger’s focus for the big group was increasing the group’s understanding of baseball situations; hitting cuts, who’s going where, who’s covering what base and bunt coverages.
“I think we did a really good job. We had a really big team with 19 guys and for about half of them, it was their first year playing Babe Ruth. We spent a lot of our time working with those guys learning the game – there’s a lot more to it once you move up to Babe Ruth from Little League,” Oliger continued.
