Beulah Baseball starts season

Coaches always say they want to start off with a test to see where they are at. Beulah started off the 2018 season with a road test against Shiloh last week on a windy day. Beulah lost the season opener 7-3, which also counted as a Region 8 counter.
Canaan Fagerland started the game for Shiloh and Cole Baumiller closed it out. Beulah Head Coach Bob Koch said his team had some costly errors in their first game of the year, which is somewhat expected since they haven’t had many outdoor practices.
“First game of the season and that’s pretty much what it looked like. I thought we played OK. We didn’t play great we had some costly errors. I hate to use not being outside as an excuse because nobody had but it definitely played into it,” Koch added.
