Beulah boys 2-1 after busy week

With their schedule only becoming harder, Beulah needs to make up ground when playing at home.

Last week, playing host twice, the Miner boys basketball team had their highest scoring adventure followed by their lowest to finish the week 2-1.

A good start led to a great finale against Richardton-Taylor Jan. 12 as Dustin Rueb scored 17 points in the Miners first District 14 victory.

Balanced scoring with three players in double figures overtook a struggling Raiders squad as Kasey Schmidt drained 13 points and sixth-man Trevor Zacher put in 10 points. The trio was the driving force behind Beulah’s 26 points in the first quarter.
