Beulah the better Miners
On paper the matchup looked pretty even.
Both the Beulah Miners and the Wilton-Wing Miners liked to dribble the lane, push the tempo of the contest and can hit from outside.
What that doesn’t take into account is Beulah’s size advantage they used to create turnovers and block shots to breeze to a 79-50 victory over their non-conference opponent Friday.
“Our length was an advantage to us on the offensive glass and we were able to tip or block some of their shots around the basket,” coach Jeremy Brandt said. “Offensively we got off to a good start.”
