Beulah tracksters finish as crowd pleasers

Dustin Rueb would describe himself as a basketball player.

Following last weekend’s Class B State Track and Field Meet, he may need to reclassify himself as just a tremendously talented athlete who enjoys basketball. In the junior’s first season participating in track and field, he placed second at the state meet in the high jump.

"I was extremely nervous competing against so many people," Rueb said. "It gets your adrenaline pumping having that many people watching you. You just have to ride the energy and use it."
