Boys break into the top 5

The Beulah boys track and field team has a goal this year: qualify as many athletes as possible then dominate the region as a team. And the Miners continue to take more and more steps toward that outcome every week.

During the Hazen Invite meet April 21, Beulah’s boys team cracked into the top five after racking up 75 points for a fourth place finish.

On an individual level, Andrew Just is making the loud and proud statement of his contention in the triple jump event. The senior punched his card to return to the State Meet at the end of May as he qualified the triple jump for the second time this season. His leap of 42 feet, 10 inches was a solid effort but earned him second place by a half an inch.
