Dominant second quarter powers Beulah win

All the ingredients have been in the huddle all season but it took a 180-mile, one way, trip for Beulah to put all the pieces together. As they traveled to Bottineau Friday, the team that walked off the bus displayed all the Miners have been working for this season and were rewarded with a 34-15 win in Class AA West Region football.

The first quarter was an episode of deja vu as the opening possession had the Stars throwing a short pass over the middle. A few missed tackles later and Bottineau was on the board as Justin McCloud bolted 56 yards to pay dirt. Jackson Bernstein’s kick moved the score to 7-0 before Beulah even touched the ball.
