Hazen turns tables on Beulah

The first game of the season saw Beulah pounce on the Bison team en route to an early mercy-rule ending. The second time around would not be so easy for the Miners. Hazen rallied with two outs in the third inning on their way to an 11-6 regional win on Friday.
“I didn’t think we were as intense as the first time we met,” coach Bob Koch said. “The first game of the season the guys were really ready to go. It was like we couldn’t get out of our way. We made some mistakes on the base paths. We need to be aggressive on the base path.”
