Marauders claim a pair of Beulah football players

The two shared the line for four years of high school. Now Keanon Serna and Kasey Schmidt will once again find themselves on the same side of the football as they both pursue the next level at the University of Mary. Changing their colors from blue and gold to blue and orange, they signed letters of intent to play football as Marauders.

Schmidt, an all-state defensive lineman and voted Beulah’s most valuable player, received offers from a few schools in Bemidji, Valley City, University of Minnesota-Crookston and Jamestown but Bismarck attracted Schmidt the most. He enjoys the town and the familiarity made the transition more comfortable.
