Miller ready for basketball at DSU

By Jarann Johnson
Logan Miller played on Beulah High School’s 2017-18 Class B basketball state tournament team. When the season ended Miller was hoping to keep on playing the game he loved. Miller found the right fit athletically and academically at Dickinson State University.
Miller is excited he has a chance to keep playing basketball at the collegiate level. But he isn’t satisfied. Miller said he wants to do well and have a strong career in college.
“It’s always been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. I am excited about this next opportunity but I’m not satisfied. I want to have a good career in college. I’m not just happy I’m there. I want to do well there also. I’m very excited about the opportunity,” Miller said
Becoming a successful college basketball player is hard at any level. Miller said he knows being a strong college player is a tough task but he thinks hard work will be the key to reaching his future goal.
“I hope, obviously, I do well but I’m going to work as hard as I can and whatever happens, happens. It’s going to be tough right away but I just have to keep working and grinding every day. I just hope to have everyone say he worked hard, gave everything he had and gave his best shot for the team,” Miller said.
