Miners get first win of 2013

The Beulah Miners earned their first win last Friday at home on a hot day. Before the game even started it was announced that the game would have mandatory stops for water because of the temperatures. Athletic Director Jeff Meissner said it was a provision that the NDHSSA added earlier this year. The hot temps were almost a complete opposite of the Miners’ first game of the season – a mud bowl with Hazen.  But the adverse weather created an adverse game.
It’s almost as though the Beulah captains – Evan Mellmer, Kamron Unruh, Isaac Riplinger and Derek  Morris –  have an all-seeing eye into the future.
