Miners heading to state

Getting to state isn’t an easy feat—there are only two ways to do it. Athlete can clear the state-qualifying mark or place in the top three in their region. Both are hard to do, but the latter gives some of the kids who are younger, less experienced or suffering from terrible weather one last chance at earning a state tournament spot.
It was an overall good meet as well for the team. The boys finished third out of 12 teams overall with 80 points, and the girls finished seventh out of 12 teams with 47 points. The overall winner for the boys and girls was Dickinson Trinity.
