Overtime ends in Miner heartbreak

If basketball coaches need an example of why teams shoot free throws at the end of practice when players are tired, tapped out and ready to rest, coaches need only look to the girls basketball game played Thursday night at the Beulah High School gymnasium.
Beulah missed 14 free throws, including four with the game on the line, to fall to Killdeer 55-54 in overtime in front of a raucous crowd. The loss drops the Miners to 1-1 in the District 14 standings.
