Seniors aim high for 1,000 pointers
There are a lot of awards and stories that help define a player’s legacy over his career. There are the all-district, all-region and all-state awards that show how the player performed compared to his peers. But no marker of a high school career says more than the 1,000 point scoring mark.
Even though the Beulah Miners’ boys basketball team missed making the state tournament this year two players’ careers and legacies ended on a strong note. Both all-region performers Jesse Hettich and Trevor Zacher topped their careers off by scoring over 1,000 points. Zacher ended with 1,333 points and Hettich ended with 1,041 points.
