Wrestling falls at regional dual tournament

By Jarann Johnson

Beulah-Hazen knew coming out of the Class B Region 4 Dual tournament with a top two finish was a tough task last week because of the holes in their lineup. Beulah-Hazen headed up to New Town last Saturday hoping to pull off a miracle. The miracle didn’t happen. Beulah-Hazen went 0-2 at the tournament. Hettinger-Scranton (Second place) and Bowman (first place) advanced to the Class B State Dual Tournament.
Beulah-Hazen started the day with a matchup against Watford City. The holes in Beulah-Hazen’s lineup meant they’d start the tournament down 6-0 thanks to a forfeit at 195. Beulah evened the team score at 6-6 thanks to a Watford City forfeit at 220.
