Christmas storm drops 10 inches of snow on area

Travel plans over the days surrounding Christmas were hampered for many Oliver County residents who ended up staying home for the holiday when two storm fronts blew across North Dakota from both the east and the west.

Many state highways including Interstate 94 were closed to travel on Christmas Day and the day after. Locally, roads weren’t closed but travel wasn’t advised.
