City Council continues work on city housing issues

The Center City Council approved a resolution proposed at the May 4 meeting by the Housing Authority that the city support Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $600,000.
The council had already decided to support the Housing Authority in construction of a four-plex rental structure to be built in the Hazel Miner Addition. According to Councilwoman Sandy Olin, the four-plex would contain two, two-bedroom houses both with attached two-car garages and two three-bedroom houses also with attached two-car garages.
