Freezing is the reason: Protect pets from cold weather threats

Cats, dogs and other domestic animals may have their own fur coats, but they still need to come in out of the cold. And cold isn’t the only danger—North Dakota winter conditions pose a number of threats for domestic animals.
“North Dakota’s winter wind is a wicked heat-stealing nightmare for animals,” said Dr. Elizabeth Kraft of Kraft Mobile Veterinary Service. Dr. Kraft—better known as Dr. Beth—makes house calls in a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic on wheels.
