Liquor licenses approved at special council meeting
By Annette Tait
The Center City Council met Dec. 15 to review and vote on approval of liquor license applications. Each on-sale, off-sale, and beer-and-wine application was considered separately, with payment of fees required at the time of application.
The Lone Wolf Saloon and Wolfie’s Place each applied for both on-sale and off-sale licenses. Application fee for both licenses is $1,500. Cahoon’s applied for an on-sale license only, with an application fee of $1,050. The Square Butte Diner submitted an application and fee of $350, requesting sale of beer and wine only.
The council conditionally approved all submitted licenses pending review by City Attorney John Mahoney.
The Lone Wolf also requested Sunday opening. Council did not vote on the request, which will be forwarded to Mahoney for recommendation.
