Oliver County Ambulance hosts fleischkuechle fundraiser
By Lindsey Jo Pouliot
The Oliver County Ambulance hosted their annual fleischkuechle fundraiser last Wednesday, July 29th from 4-7 p.m. Due to COVID-19 public health measures, the fundraiser was set up for pre-orders and curbside order only. According to Laurie Thompson, one of the volunteers at the event, the response to the change was “really great.”
The Oliver County Ambulance consists of a volunteer force of drivers, EMTs, and EMRs who work 12-hour shifts. The money from the fleischkuechle fundraiser provides funding for new equipment for the County Ambulance service and the city.
