Ruds guests on Hannity national radio show

North Dakota jobs continue to outpace available employees, even in the City of Center. Rud Energy owners Gus and Sharon Rud were guests on the “Get America Back to Work” segment of national radio host Sean Hannity’s March 20 broadcast, hoping to gain interest in the roughly 100 positions they need to fill. “Get America Back to Work” is a regular spot in which Hannity interviews companies in oil-rich states to help them create awareness of employment opportunities.
“One of our competitors used (Get American Back to Work) and had phenomenal response in applicants,” Gus Rud said. “We got a response from (the show) in about two days and were on the air in 10 days. It was a real fast turnaround.”
The Ruds operate Rud Energy, a family-owned and operated company founded in January 2011 to transport water to and from oil wells in the Bakken. The company hauls fresh water to the wells for hydraulic fracking and, once the wells are up and running, removes the runoff to saltwater disposal sites.
