Monday evening Center-Stanton School Board members met and approved a preliminary budget for the 2019-20 school year. They also approved increasing the activity and meal fees.
The school board approved a preliminary budget of $3.86 million, which is slightly more than the $3.74 million requested last year.
Center-Stanton School District Business Manager Jacob Erhardt gave a quick review on the annual state financial report
“We had about $196,000 in deficit spending. Revenues are coming in at about $3.45 million. Expenditures $3.74 million,” Erhardt said.
Erhardt added the school was still looking to receive Title II money.
