It is a record after all. U. S. Army Corps of Engineers officials in Riverdale announced that Lake Sakakawea was officially frozen over Jan 18. The announcement came about noon. The date edges out the previous record by a mere two days.

However, the Wildcats ran into a pair of sisters who outdid C-S Monday night during the New Salem Tournament. Morgan and Sadie Rohrich from Kidder County combined for 31 points en route to the 75-17 victory over the Wildcats.
