Lucky bounce rolls Bison way
Sports fans always say games can be won or loss on a lucky bounce. Early last week Hazen fans saw a lucky bounce go there way and it was enough to spur them to a home sweep over Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton 5-3 and 11-8.
Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton had Hazen right where they wanted them. Hazen trailed WWCS 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning with two outs. Hazen sophomore Isaac Doll approached the plate. Doll made contact and the ball took a weird path to shallow left field, which gave WWCS outfielder Peyton Hall a little bit of trouble. Once Doll got on base he caused problems.
