Nagel qualifies for state track

Center-Stanton qualified their first athlete for the 2019 track and field season last week. Kori Nagel earned the honors by state-qualifying the disc at the Bison-Miner meet, which was hosted by Hazen.
Nagel threw the disc 124 feet and 6 inches, which gave her first place honors. More importantly it qualified her for the state meet in the event. State-qualifying in the discus is 110 feet. Nagel wasn’t done having a great day.
She also place in the shot put taking third. Nagel threw the shot 31 feet and 11.25 inches which is only four feet away from state-qualifying. Center-Stanton’s girls had two other placers at the meet.
