The Washburn United Methodist Church invites those who wish to light a candle in memory of a loved one this Christmas season to join them for a short service and candle lighting as they remember together at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, at the church.
Bring your projects, sewing machine and lunch to the Chat and Sew sewing group from 10 a.m. to whenever, Monday, Dec. 10, at First Lutheran Church, Washburn. The Union Bank and Western Frontier Insurance Agency will hold a Christmas Open House from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Union Bank. Coffee, cider and cookies will be served. All are welcome.
