Comets teach Center but learn a lesson from Glenburn

The Comets’ second game of the year was another three-period win for the team that went on their first road game of the season against Center-Stanton. Head coach Mary Hefta said last year the game against Center was a nail-biter, but after the team lost several seniors, the Underwood team was able to keep a good lead on the opponents. Hefta was proud of her team for their strong offense in the game. "Our offense came out and played well. We stayed focused and finished 3-0," Hefta said. The match wasn’t without some lessons though, Hefta said. But they learned a great deal more in the game against Glenburn.
