Celebrating an artistic heritage
By Daniel Arens
For 50 years, artists and crafters from Hazen and beyond have shared their talents with the residents of the area. In honor of this anniversary, a special show will pay tribute to their contributions while bringing new features for art enthusiasts to enjoy.
The Hazen Art and Craft Association (HACA) 50th Art Show will be held April 27 and 28 at Hazen City Hall. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The show will feature over 300 pieces of art from around 100 artists, including students and adults.
In addition to the regular art displays, there are two new major attractions at the show this year. One of these additions is the “Artist Boutique”.
